As a USAF Veteran, my son, and granddaughter, came to me with a passion to be a farmer, and to be able to produce quality food for dogs and cats that would be free of chemicals and antibiotics for his dog - Soxy!!

After much thought and research, he decided to join the pet food production movement for dogs and cats.  Not only producing the food itself but also raising the protein needed to produce the best pet food on the market.  It turns out that rabbit, low in fat, is ideal for a back to nature diet for your pet to have a healthy digestive track and stay active.

 

So Humble Homestead was born as a rabbitry that produces the best quality rabbit meat and processes it into the best quality food for your best friends!  Unlike others that source their meat from unknown growers, we produce our pet food from self-grown healthy rabbits we raise ourselves. We also market other meat products we know are produced from the best USDA producers - mostly small farmers like us!

 

It is a lot of work but when you see the results in healthy and happy pets - it is well worth it in smiles and Thank Yous!
